State tax filing
You must file Arizona tax return if you have Arizona-source income and your Federal Gross income is below a certain level, depending on our age and filing status.
If you are single you can make up to $8,333 (exemption and standard deduction for Arizona) without owing Arizona income tax. For other filing status see this link for personal exemption and standard deduction amounts; https://www.azdor.gov/Portals/0/ADOR-forms/TY2017/2017%20Individual%20%20Items%20of%20Interest_Final...
However, enrolled tribal members who live and work on the reservation governed by the member’s tribe can subtract all reservation source wages and income.
