Do i have to file an out of state w-2 on my local income tax filing. worked 3 months out of state as a non resident there and wonder if that income is taxable by local

student who worked 2 months during summer in CT. resident of PA. working on filing with local income tax office and don't know if I have to claim CT income to be taxed in PA.

State tax filing

Your resident state taxes all your income, regardless of where earned.

Your local resident municipality taxes all earned income (wages and self-employment, regardless of where  earned.

Did CT withhold local taxes also?

State tax filing

CT did not. I went ahead and filled out the local with the CT income as well and owed a little, but rather that than mess up and pay down the road. Thank you!
