Transcripts show "accepted" on 3/11/19 and a notice is to be issued 3/18/19. I was assigned a TA but have not been contacted yet.
I was advised that I was picked for income verification due to my current employer "not submitting a W-2"
I spoke to my employer who stated he sent it and has since resent my W-2 via E-file, mail and fax numerous times. I'm hoping that come 3-11-19 my WMR pops up approved. This year has been a bureaucratic nightmare.

Received a notice from the IRS on Saturday that my return was flagged for review (nothing has changed on my transcript tho, not even a notice mailed code). Lovely. They are going to review it and will contact me if they need any additional information (or if they deny my refund). I can't do anything at this time other than apply for a TA. I only had one job (same as the year before) and one retirement account, one bank account, so I don't know why it would have gotten flagged other than claiming a dependent as I had a baby in July. This is bull. I've been funneling money into paying off medical bills for the last 6 months and could REALLY use that money. Hopefully I can get a TA to try something, but the notice I got says I could see another 60 days go by before I get my refund.

Called a TA and he was zero help. Told me he couldn't do anything until 60 days AFTER I received my letter from the IRS. Does that sound right to anyone else or did I just get the world's crappiest TA? My letter just said they are reviewing my info and to just wait, and that is exactly what the TA said. Should I try talking to another TA? I thought they could try to help out, find out why it's being reviewed, maybe move the process along...

Decided to call another TA who wasn't a total douche and got my answers. My wages on my W-2 don't match what my work reported to the IRS. There's a difference of about $4,000. The TA I had was really helpful and I'm so glad I called again. At least I know what's going on and why I'm being reviewed. I'm sure my W-2 is correct as it matches my last paystub in December. My employer got new payroll software last year and I guess it's been having a lot of glitches, so I wouldn't be surprised if that is what happened. I'm going to ask them to correct the information and hopefully we can get my return processed. Good luck to you guys! Hope you all get some answers!
