Federal return rejected

After doing an efile, get an email rejection notice - IND-031-04 - the primary taxpayer's AGI or self-directed PIN from last year does not match IRS records.  I have tripled checked the 2018 AGI so that is correct.  The pin shows up automatically.

After you file

For some reason the correct AGI does not match the IRS database. Try entering the number 0 instead of the actual AGI. This will often work.

 

If it doesn't work, you will have to print and mail your return.
