Yea the advocates can help you if they chose to but they don't have an instant fix. After waiting 3 business days I got the call back from my local advocate, I explained to her my hardship. My apt is all boxed up & I had secured a new place which I have now lost because it took too long & it was 3k to move in. So now my with 2 kids I have to leave by next week & we have nowhere to go 😔 she said she really wanted to help me. She said she would have them push my refund through for this Friday but that, that automatically triggers an 2 week unavoidable verification process and that I will receive my refund by 3/23 possibly sooner. She reassured me & told me not to worry.
If you can get online and look at your transcript it will tell you what’s going on. I finally got on mine after trying forever. I have a process date of March 9th but also have a review date of April 20th don’t understand why they have it like that so I’m hoping it’s March 9th an I get them the following week. They are only updating on Saturdays and sending refunds on Wednesdays.
