W-2 withheld taxes in wrong state - can I still get back for 2015?
Live and work in different states. W-2 taxes were withheld in the wrong state in 2015 and 2016, but just realized this year that I can filed state taxes (claim) to get this money back. Can I still file for 2015 as well?

After you file
Yes, you must file a nonresident income tax return with zero state income and the withheld taxes will be refunded to you. You can still amend your 2015 return. Some states allow you to file a request for the refund- which state did your employer paid to by mistake? I will check for you.
