If my husband and I are married filing separately and have only been married for two months, do we have to include half of our incomes for the entire year on Form 8958?

We have only been married since November in a community property state, so I don't believe community property extends prior to that date.

Yes, if you were married before December 31st, you are considered Married all Year.

You could file jointly if that is more beneficial to you.
