How did you purchase a download from someone at eBay?   Only very few companies are authorized to sell TurboTax downloads, and they are big well-known ones like Amazon, Staples, Office Depot, Newegg, etc.

I don't know what the circumstances were at eBay, but the license does not allow the reselling of the software. 

This is mainly a user community forum.  You could talk to TurboTax Support, describe your situation, and plead your case, but there's no guarantee.   They may say they won't support a product from an unauthorized sale.

Where the form asks what product you are using, be sure in the dropdown menu to indicate "CD/download" and the proper operating system, then indicate which Edition.
