Turbotax requests contradicting information to verify identity prior to filing return.
Turbotax requests information from 2015 tax returns as identity verification for 2016. One such request is "Tell us what's on line 21 of your form 1040A" followed by a box to input the information.
The next page is to double check that number, and requires users to verify the number is:
On my 2015 return.
Line 37 of my 1040A
The exact number.
All boxes must be checked in order to proceed with filing.
Is this a technical problem?
If not, which number is actually supposed to be submitted?

Get your taxes done using TurboTax
This is a typo. Use line 21 if you're using form 1040A.
