Received an email about a new Bipartisan Budget Act 2018 and to refile/after March 7. Did so today and message stated taxes were already filed for my SSN, what do I do?
When can I refile successfully as asked through email?
If the new Tax Budget Act results in a deduction or credit that you may be eligible for, such as the Tuition and Fees deduction, you can claim that deduction or credit if it results in a refund, but it must be done as an amended return. Amended returns must be paper-filed and mailed.
