Form 1095-C, Health Coverage, is a form that reports to the IRS the type of health coverage you had, dependents covered by your insurance, and how many months you had coverage for in 2016.
You don't need the form to file your tax return. TurboTax will ask you questions about your health coverage but your 1095-C isn't needed. Just keep the form in your files.

I keep getting rejected by IRS when filing through TurboTax. It says I am missing a Form 8892. I had employer provided health coverage. How do I fix this? How do I fix in TurboTax. Not sure where to do that. I need specific step by step instructions.
Thank you!!

Form 8892 is an extension of time to file a gift tax return.
Is this the form that the rejection message is really referring to?
