Moved IA to NV, work remotely for same IA company. Employer deducted IA taxes for 5 paychecks before switching info to NV. No NV tax, can I recoup missent IA tax money?

You will have to file a Part Year Resident return for Iowa for the time you lived there so the excess withholding will be included with your state tax refund.

I selected part-year resident under my state return general info and put the date I moved. My state return is not reflecting the amount that was incorrectly sent to IA. Is there something else I need to be doing?

In the Iowa section of TurboTax, make sure that the income is allocated so you are only taxed on the time you were in Iowa (look for Iowa taxable income amount)
