Why does my 1099-MISC not reflect my actual income?
One of my 1099-MISC forms (for driving Uber) shows an earnings of about one-third the amount of my actual income from them. Is this accounting for deductions, or should I be worried this was imported incorrectly?
To give the specifics, the 1099 says I made $3,019, but when I added up my pay statements, the actual income was $8,511.

Get your taxes done using TurboTax
You would have to ask them. They should be reporting only your gross pay and not deducting any expenses -- that's for you to do.
Of course, as a self-employed person, you are required to accurately report all your income and expenses from your own business records, even if you don't get tax forms from the payer (or those forms are inaccurate.)
