My parents tax preparer put me down as a dependent, but didn't give them the child tax credit? How should I answer the question can someone else claim you as a dependent?
If your parents have already claimed you as a dependent and completed filing (even if they did not qualify for any credits), you have to select "someone else can claim me as a dependent"
