Get your taxes done using TurboTax
I am using a home & business Turbo software and I selected less common income. I answered yes on the question "Did you receive Alimony?" and went to another screen to fill up the amount received ($12,000for 2019) and date of agreement which is 6/3/2019. No check on agreement modified. When I was reviewing the form 1040 other income and schedule 1 is blank (0). The only amount showing is my wages. Does this mean the alimony that I received in not taxable that is why is not picking up the information on schedule 1?
