Can I claim the hours I pay respite under tax refund? As a non-working mom, can I claim the hours I pay her?

Get your taxes done using TurboTax
The money that you pay out to provide respite care for your disabled daughter is a medical expenses deduction that may be included in the medical expenses area on Schedule A. However, if you do not itemize your deductions, you will not be able to take these expenses.
