Turbo Tax is requesting a State and employer number for W2. I'm retired. There is no W-2. How do I get around this?

Turbo Tax requesting W2 info for state and employer.  I'm retired.  I don't need a W2.

Get your taxes done using TurboTax

You can delete the W-2 from your return by following these steps:

  1. Go into Forms Mode by clicking on the Forms icon in the top right of the blue bar
  2. In the Forms in My Return list on the left, click on the W-2 to open it.
  3. Click the Delete box at the bottom of the screen.
  4. To return to the interview, click on the Step-By-Step icon in the top right of the blue bar.
