Why is turbo tax not putting in the entire Earned Income credit of 4213 with a person making less than the allowed amount claiming 1 child. They are substantially lower

The amount does not make sense it differs from irs.gov

You do not necessarily get the maximum amount of EIC. The amount you get is based on how much you earned from working. The calculation is a complicated one done on a bell curve. Sometimes less income means more EIC, sometimes more income means less EIC.
