Apparently the DD failed, so the third party bank that handled this had to mail you a check, and charged you $20 for doing this. Most banks charge more than that for a returned deposit.

I used the same routing # and bank account # I have been using for over 10 years without problems. Now my refund gets routed to a third party to be deposited to my account. How many people or businesses now have my banking information because of an "error" in routing?
