Why am I being charged for the "Free Edition" on a simple return?

I was charged $40 for using the "Guaranteed Free Edition" and I would like to know why.

My refund deposit was $39.78 less than what it said when I filed.

$0.00

Order details shows that I was charged nothing. I tried calling but after they already charged me without my permission or even notifying me, they want me to pay an additional $19.99 to speak with someone. It's a scam. It's not about the money, if it were made clear to me and I was given the opportunity to approve it, I must likely would have because I like their interface over TaxSlayer, which is truly free because I'm a veteran.

Edit: Thank you for your response, btw.
