Turbotax made numerous representations to me, via email and text message, that I would receive a discount. None of those representations included a disclaimer that I must "clear all cookies" and ensure the discount is applied before purchasing Turbotax's tax-filing services. Thus, I used the link in the email provided by TDAmeritrade (and also filed on the same date I received a text message from Turbotax representing that I would receive a discount if I filed by that date), but I did not receive a discount. Please retroactively apply the discount to my account.
