Do you have a TurboTax Online account?

We'll help you get started or pick up where you left off.

My Illinois state tax due was not auto billed from my bank account by April 15.

My tax return was accepted on January 31, and I had chosen a date before April 15 to have the tax taken out of my account. The money was not taken out of my account yesterday. I have a national bank and processing withdrawals usually show up immediately. Is TurboTax at fault for this?

The payment information entered for your state payment, is sent directly to your state for withdraw. If you chose to have them withdraw from your bank account, generally, the funds are withdrawn on the payment date you specified if your return has been accepted. Since it is way past 7-10 days after your return has been accepted and your specified date, you will need to contact your state Department of Revenue.

To contact your state, click on your particular state in the link below:

IL state Department of Revenue - https://www2.illinois.gov/rev/aboutidor/Pages/contactus.aspx To receive assistance by phone, please call 800 732-8866 or 217 782-3336. Representatives are available Monday through Friday, 8 am - 5 pm
