This final review error is because Form 1099-NEC was not linked to your LLC. If you double click the Schedule C link, then another window will appear. Highlight the business to link this income.
If you do not have a business, this income cannot be offset with expenses.
I am having the same problem with the 1099-NEC wanting to link to a schedule C. I do not have a business and am not trying to claim any expenses. I am in a constant loop and the link on the final review to the schedule C does not work.
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
If you do not have a business, then you will not have a Schedule C. Please delete the 1099-NEC and the Schedule C by going to Tax Tools, Tools, Delete a Form. After both forms are deleted ,go back and add the 1099-NEC again. Make sure you answer the questions correctly to indicate that this not for a self-employed business.
