    They're trying to tell you to use the amount she paid.  So, if her RE taxes were $3,000 and the town reduced them by $502, only enter $2,498.

    unfortunately, barbara's reply doesn't answer the question. the turbotax screenshot is saying something completely different to what they're talking about.
