My taxes were rejected. I have been approved for an OPA with the IRS. How do I re-file my taxes electronically?

Yes, in most cases you can make a correction, re-submit your return, and have it accepted. Here's how to do that:

 

1. Sign in to your TurboTax account.
2. Select Fix my return. 
3. On the Let's fix your return and then refile screen, select Fix it now or Revisit.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to edit your information. You may get a message that you don't understand. If that happens, post it here and TurboTax will help you further.
5. If the program doesn't take to the spot to fix your return, select Review, then Check my return. Address any details that come up. Keep going until there are no additional details, messages, or questions. 
6. When you're finished, select Continue to File and continue until you e-file your return. 
    

You don't need to do anything special to e-file because you have an OPA. The return and the agreement will both connect to your tax account.
