two options if continued rejection. print and mail form 4868 and state extension, if required. they must be postmarked by midnight on the due date. The IRS has a website where you can file your extension

if you owe you can use IRS direct pay to make payment which gives you an automatic federal extension

state extension requirements are different
I had the same rejection reason:R0000-679-01 - 'PrimaryPriorYearPIN' or 'PrimaryElectronicFilingPIN' or 'PrimaryPriorYearAGIAmt' in the Return Header must match the e-File database.
I did verify my AGI prior to submitting. ???
1. How can I "try again" to file an extension via TurboTax? It doesn't seem to give me that option.
2. Did the IRS take my tax payment that I sent with the extension? or do I need to pay again?
Same thing just happened to me. No idea if I need to resubmit the payment.
Turbo Tax will not know if the IRS receives a payment. Please contact the IRS to inquire.

I was able to resubmit (the identical extension request information) through Turbo tax... and it was accepted.
