If I correct a federal tax form that was rejected, are my state returns automatically updated?

I entered the EIN on my federal return incorrectly.  I corrected it on my federal return but can't find a way to correct it on my state returns.

If you updated federal  for REJECTED, you should step through the state Q&A and confirm your answers again. Then your return will be updated (or should be).

I can't find the "state Q&A" to confirm my answers.....please be more specific.

Click on the state tab to go through state again.
Click on Add a State to let you back into your retun.
