I put the wrong ssn digit my return
It's highly unlikely that your return was accepted by the IRS with the wrong Social Security Number. If your return is eventually rejected, you will be able to go into your account and make the necessary changes to your tax return and re-submit your return.

If the status of the e-filed tax return is Pending then the IRS has not yet either Accepted or Rejected the tax return.
The IRS will start accepting and rejecting 2019 tax returns on and after January 27. The IRS will probably reject the tax return so that you can correct your mistake and re-file.
