forget about filing an extension . it 's late  and invalid.  you can go to IRS website and pay - click on make a payment.   you will eventually get a bill from the IRS for late payment. penalties, interest and taxes if you underpaid.  make your payment  and file your return ASAP.  penalties are 5% a month on unpaid taxes
