I had health insurance last year till july, every single year ive gotten a return more then a 1000 this year is only 641 whats wrong with this picture? i need help

you've answered your own question  - failure to maintain health insurance for entire year.  of course without knowing more, it's possible you could qualify for an exemption.

there are also thousands of other possibilities as to why your refund dropped.

And last year they reduced the withholding tables so you got more back in your checks each month.
