Having trouble connecting what’s Can’t send my request for extended filing?

I did too... it was quite the cluster, so you're not alone.  You follow the instructions, then fill out all the sensitive info, then it sends you to their webpage with the same questions again, then it asks you to choose a product, that links you to buying what you already have...

...or if you follow the other instructions, you enter all the sensitive info, and it prints out a pretty form with instructions to 'put it in the mail'.   <shrug>

Extension Form 4868 cannot be filed from within local TurboTax on your computer. Use TurboTax website at https://myturbotax.intuit.com/ & follow File Extension button. Free to file an extension.

Used it for 10 years and this year was a total cluster. I have a relatively simple return as always and for some reason the depth of questions and lack of guidance or logic just frustrated me so much I went to an extension. Then I had to pay $255 for them to send the extension and didn't give any link to pay excess tax. So I had to go to the IRS site to e-pay. I have never had such a bad experience and now after 4 hours I'm back to square one having spent $255 for the "enjoyment" and nothing for it.  Getting a tax guy again after 10 years of TT.
