How is it I have a total paid to date in federal taxes at $2,927.08 but shows I owe $2,275. I should have a refund of $625 or more with itemizing?
How do I start over with my federal return?

Why should you have a refund with itemizing? What is your taxable income?

If you have paid $2,927.08 in federal taxes, and it says you owe $2,275, that means you underpaid your federal taxes this year by $2,275. In other words, you should have paid $5,202 in federal taxes this year, but only had $2,927.08 withheld.
Since I don't know your entire tax situation and how many deductions/credits, etc. you may have, these numbers may not be entirely accurate. I'm just basing it on the information you provided above.
