Can you tell me why inceased cost 19.99 to efile state; put charging 24.99. can the $19.99 to file come out of the refund?

In fine print it also tells you the prices are subject to change.They always increase the prices in mid-tax season. Do not choose to pay from your refund or you will also have to pay a $39.99 "refund processing fee" in order to have the third party bank extract the fee and send the rest to you.

The way to avoid that state e-file fee altogether is to print and sign the state return instead of e-filing it.
