No. To add information from your 1099-INT please follow these steps:
- Click on Federal > Wages & Income
- Scroll down to the Interest and Dividends section and click on the Start/Revisit box next to Interest on 1099-INT.
- If you have already entered interest, you will see a screen Here's the interest we have so far. Click Add interest income to make another entry.
- If you haven't yet made any entries for interest, you will see the screen, Did you receive any interest income? Click the blue Yes box.
- On the screen, Choose your bank or brokerage, click Continue.
- Make the entries from your 1099-INT on the next screen, Let's get your 1099-INT or brokerage statement details.
Now check to see if a 1099-DIV was created that you need to delete:
- While in your return, click on Tax Tools > Tools (in the black bar at the side of your screen).
- In the Tools Center, under Other helpful links click on Delete a form.
- Click Delete next to Schedule B -- Form 1099-DIV and follow the onscreen instructions.
- Once you have finished deleting the desired form(s) click the Continue with My Return box (in the lower right of your screen).
