Property (Real Estate) Tax Deduction

I entered the property tax information for my primary home but after doing so i was unable to edit the information.  When returning to the Deductions and Credits page and selecting update it immediately goes to a page saying Congrats, you get a tax break!.  The only options are back or done.

We are currently looking into this issue.

Please make sure you have run all updates. If this doesn’t solve the issue, then you can switch to form mode and enter the property tax directly on Schedule A. Please make sure you do not select to overwrite anything in form mode.

Please follow these steps:

1. Open your return in TurboTax desktop
2. Click on “Forms” icon on the top right to switch to form mode
3. Select “Schedule A’ on he left
4. Enter the amount under “Taxes You Paid”
