how do i connect by bank account to auto deduct business expenses

You can connect to your bank account using TurboTax Premium to transfer your business expenses.

To do this, you will:

  1. Open your return
  2. You can type "Business Expenses" in the search bar at the top right of your screen
  3. And Click on "Jump to Business Expenses".
  4. This will take you to your business information in TurboTax
  5. You will follow the screens and answer all follow-up questions
  6. If you have already entered your business information you will click on "Review"
  7. You will enter your income and when that is complete
  8. You will see the screen "Next Up Claiming Your Expenses!
  9. Select "Continue"
  10. The next screen will say, "Find 33% more expenses when you connect your financial accounts"
  11. Click on "Connect My Accounts"
  12. Follow the prompts to connect to your bank account

Your screens will look something like this:

Type "Business Expenses" in the search bar and select "Jump to Business Expenses"

On this screen you will select "Connect My Accounts"
