Dependent time lived at home

# of months dependent lived with us rules?   21 year old son, we removed from college.  we paid for him to go oout of stat to a residental therapy program for 10 weeks.  Then he was home for 6 weeks before we paid for him to enter a transitional residentional program in Asheville NC, from April 15-September 30th 2023. (5months 2wks).  He remained in Asheville in and apt. for October, November and December 2023. We paid his rent and expenses. He should technically still be our dependent and how long do we count as living at home?

Those absences were temporary and count as time at home.
