No. The refundable child-related credits are based on having income from working. If you did not work, you are not eligible for earned income credit or the additional child tax credit, which is the part of CTC that gets added to a refund. There has been only one tax year in which you could get any child-related credits without working---tax year 2021----the law changed for that year and then went back to the old rules from 2022 onward. Is there someone else who supports you and can claim you and your child as dependents?
