California Itemized deduction not working for home mortgage and property tax

When I input mortgage interest and property tax in TT mac & also TT online, TT is not picking up itemized deduction, instead uses standard deduction. Hence "CA refund" remains the same when I input mortgage interest and property tax, while "Federal value" is getting changed.

This is for loan > 750K.

2. "Two year comp" form that TT generated, is using "11,080" for 2024 which is CA standard deduction value. For 2023, it correctly generated itemized 22,103 value.

California Itemized deduction not working for home mortgage and property tax

You might check to see that any California interview questions were also completed. Also, there were recent updates to TurboTax. Be sure to run updates when prompted.

You might try saving and exiting the return, exiting TurboTax and reopening the return. Go back to the Income section and delete each investment income item that's not needed.

See this help article for troubleshooting steps for Mac issues.

If you confirmed that you have all of the minimum system requirements, you might also try clearing your cache and cookies.

If after trying all of the options mentioned you still have the same problem:
