1099s on inherited property sold in 5months

The inherited property had a small gain from the time of inheritance to the time of the sale, even after deducting costs of sale.  On the TT program 1099s is filed under the investment section but the default seems to be longterm capital gains for inherited property.   Does that need to be reclassified as short term capital gain?

No. Property acquired from a decedent has a long-term holding period regardless of how long it was actually held per Section 1223(9).
