I have two questions:
Thanks in advance.
You'll need to sign in or create an account to connect with an expert.
1. Yes, the Paid Family Leave reported on the W2 are tax free for California.
2. Yes, in the California section, you can enter the amount on the W2 with the Paid Family Leave so that TurboTax will subtract and you will not pay tax on it. Some people do not have separate W2s for the Paid Family Leave so this entry is necessary to be sure the correct amount is subtracted.
Thank you so much!
