Why is my state not listed on the area 12a?

on 12a of my income tax return, when selecting a state associated, tennessee is NOT listed. What can I do?

12a of what form?

Although I don't know what form you are referring to, this often comes up with forms that refer to income tax. But since Tennessee does not have an individual state income tax, "Tennessee" does not need to be listed in many cases.
