I turned 59 1/2 in February. I have teacher retirement code 2, but this year I rec. 2-1099-R forms. 1 had code 2 in box 7 and 1 had code 7 in box 7. I put in 1099-R twice, but it did not like that, I put in 1 1099-R with code 2 and code 7 and it did not like that. What do you do in box 7 if you rec. two 1099-R forms with 2 diff. codes, how do you enter this-both are from the same teacher retirement account?.

There should not be any issue in entering the Form 1099-R from the same payer with different codes in box 7.
The code 2 in box 7 indicates —Early distribution, exception applies (under age 59½)
The code 7 in box 7 indicates - Normal distribution
Delete each Form 1099-R and then re-enter manually.
