I changed jobs during 2023 and had already met my social security max. New employer took out additional social security. How do I file to get this reimbursed?

If you have two or more employers and the total Social Security taxes withheld exceed $9,932.40, then the excess SS taxes withheld will be entered on your federal tax return, Form 1040, as a tax payment on Line 31.

Turbotax will do it automatically for you.
