I am on the check this entry, and I keep getting the message that my Recipient City on Bene IRA is invalid. What do I do? It's typed in correctly.

The system checks that the addresses entered are correct and gets an error when the information does not match.  Here are a few things you could check:

• Try entering the zip code with and without the last 4 digits
• Try deleting the form and entering it again (see below for instructions on how to do it)
• Double check with the company that issued to see if the address on your form is correct
• If it all fails, send us a message back with the address and we can try troubleshooting it with you

To delete a form 1099-R do it from within your return

1.  Search for the form name in the search bar (for example, W-2) 
2.  Select the Jump to link in the search results to get to the summary screen
3.  Select the trash can icon to delete.

To enter it again, you can do it from the same section you are currently at after deleting it or:

1. Open or continue your return.
2. In the Federal section, select Wages & Income.
3. Scroll to locate Retirement Plans and Social Security.
4. Select Start or Revisit next to IRA, 401(k), Pension Plan Withdrawals (1099-R).
