Tax Year Prior to 2020: Will i get the Covid-19 stimulus check added to my turbo tax card even if i already recieved my taxes?

We are still waiting for IRS guidance regarding updating or providing direct deposit information for the stimulus payments and how they will be distributed to these type of accounts. We will have more information once the government finalizes the details.

What does it mean  by my similus check was accepted? Does that mean i will be recieving the stimulus check?

Also will my stimulus check be deposited into my bank account and added to my turbo tax card?

Your stimulus check will be deposited into the account that you chose to have your tax refund deposited. Was your tax refund deposited into your bank account or onto your TurboTax card?

 

We are not able to answer whether you qualify to receive the stimulus check or not. That is determined by the government and TurboTax does not have access to that information. As stated by MichelleLO:

Will i get a stimulus check if i havent recieve my taxes yet

It is still to be determined if the deposit will go through the third party processing bank. We are currently working with the IRS to determine how the stimulus payments will be issued. We will update this page when more information is available:

The IRS does not have my direct deposit information. What can I do?

In the coming weeks, Treasury plans to develop a web-based portal for individuals to provide their banking information to the IRS online, so that individuals can receive payments immediately as opposed to checks in the mail.
