I need to amend my taxes and remove the $1,400 stimulus from my income. How can I change the location I put this.

The IRS knows the amount of stimulus payment sent to you so they adjust your tax return accordingly by removing the Recovery Rebate Credit from the Form 1040 Line 30.  This will reduce your federal tax refund or increase your taxes owed.  If you have taxes owed the IRS will send you a bill in the mail.

You do not need to amend the 2021 tax return.
