Why can't I get a Credit Karma Money™ Spend account?

There are two possible reasons you weren’t able to open an account:

1. You're using the TurboTax CD/Download software or the IRS Free File Program delivered by TurboTax.

Only TurboTax Online and the TurboTax mobile app offer the option to open a Credit Karma Money™ Spend account.

2. Your application couldn’t be completed with the information you provided.

Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.
