Where's the AGI on my 1099-R or other 1099 form?

SOLVEDby TurboTax59Updated January 04, 2022

You won't find your AGI on a 1099-R or any other 1099 form, even if that's the only income you received for the year.

1099s don't list deductible items that adjust (reduce) your gross income, for example moving expenses, alimony paid, education-related deductions, and so on.

The only place to reliably get last year's AGI is from your originally-filed, unamended 2020 tax return copy or an official IRS transcript.
