Why can't I change my transferred direct deposit information in TurboTax Online?

If you transferred your info from your 2021 tax return, TurboTax may prompt you to deposit your tax refund into the same account you used last year.

If you'd like your refund deposited in a different account this year:

  1. Ensure the checkbox underneath the account info stating I want my refund deposited into this account is unchecked
  2. Scroll down and select Continue
  3. On the Let's get your bank account info screen, enter the info of the account you want your 2022 refund deposited to
